1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Snapshot, including the iOS app currently distributed via Apple's TestFlight as an open beta (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Snapshot. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Beta Access

Snapshot is currently offered as an open beta through TestFlight. Beta access may be revoked or expire at any time, and the Service may contain bugs, incomplete features, or undergo significant changes without notice. Features available during the beta are not guaranteed to remain in any future release.

4. Your Account

Signing up only requires a username, which does not need to be your real name — we don't require an email address or Apple ID to create or sign in to an account. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Boards, Snapshots & Content

A “board” is a private, invite-only space shared between you and the friends you add to it.
Content you post (“snapshots”) is visible only to members of the relevant board and automatically expires 48 hours after posting.
You retain ownership of the photos you post. By posting, you grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the Service for the members of your board.
You're solely responsible for the content you share and for having the right to share it.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Snapshot to:

Post unlawful, harassing, or infringing content.
Attempt to access boards or accounts you're not a member of.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.
Use the Service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Snapshot name, logo, app, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, particularly given its current beta status. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using Snapshot and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the beta or the Service itself.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, especially as Snapshot moves out of beta. We'll notify you of material changes in the app before they take effect.

12. Governing Law
